Hello, to all the owners of hutchinson rock monsters what type did you order BL-0106 or BL-0107? What are the differences, I know the wheel itself is the same is it the beadlock itself maybe thicker or thinner? Looking at the application charts why will the bl-0107 fit bfg mud terrains from 35-37s and not toyo mt and bfg krawlers? I would like to run different tires over the course of my jk's life. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

The difference is that each is designed for a different bead width. Some companies have thicker beads than others, and these wheels are cut differently depending on this.

 

Thanks littlejon for the reply I did not think there would be that much of a difference in the same company (bfg) and type of tires. What do you mean that the wheels are cut differently? I thought the rubber beadlock insert was the only thing that was different.

 

It is the center piece that is cut differently for the different bead widths. That is what I meant by the wheel is cut differently.

 

Yep, the center rubber "belt" that goes around the two rim halves is the only difference.
I haven't priced them, has anyone else?

 

I want these but they are about 460 bucks each. Have them on Quadratec. Not sure if I wanna spend that much. Sick lookin wheels though.
