Default Hub rings needed?

I've got ATX cornice wheels for my JK. The hub hole is quite a bit bigger than the flange on the hub. Do I need hub rings, or do people just leave them lug-centric? I typically don't care for rings but wanted to make sure.

You don't have to have them but it makes sense to run them. I always run them on non lug centric wheels. I don't see why you wouldn't want to run them if the color bothers you paint them black.
