I'll report in once I get my 2.5 triple rate coils from RCO. Looking forward to installing them. My aging TF 2.5 coils are Donzo after almost 6 years of service.

Maybe some of the big warehouses are shipping out old stock?

I bought my 2.5 X Factor from NorthRidge at the end of January during their Rockuary sale. The fronts are definitely triple rate but at least to my eyes, the rears appeared to be linear. When I get home (if Pax doesn't snow me in at work) I'll pull the number printed on coils or on the bags they came in.

I'm patiently waiting for mine too....

Not a big rush, since, even with a garage, I'm waiting for it to warm up a bit.

I didn't have the patience to wait. I was tired of my 35s rubbing the plastic caps on the Rubi rails on every bump in the road. Fired up the kerosene heater and broke some knuckles over the course of 4 days. One person in a cramped garage took way more than the stated 6-8 hr install. My wife estimates it took me 16 - 20 hrs. I still don't have the rear track bar welded yet.

Nothing but good things to say. They take weight great and the on road manners are excellent. Jeep feels solid when braking and turning.

I am still running Rubicon shocks with a set of extensions from my previous setup. Plans are to order a set of Rancho RS9000XL in the very near future.

Mine is a fairly heavy 2-dr with hard top and I got around 1" more than advertised.

The part number that is printed on the spring won't help you since RK left the numbers the same as the old progressive/linear rate spring.

You will want to see how the coils are wound to tell if it is triple rate, progressive, or linear.

And exactly how should they be wound for triple rate? Three different size spaces between the spring winds?

pretty sure they were getting rid of old stock and didn't offer the triple rate coils on their 20% off sale.

Maybe Dave from Northridge can chime in here. I feel duped if I didn't get triple rate coils. I thought everyone was shipping them now. I just didn't know they were front and rear.
