Talking Tools

Get some tools so you can really work on the JK.

Or buy your self that rack and a welder, and learn to weld, and make all sorts of nifty stuff for your Jeep, then sell it to us in that builders basement thing, so your 900 bucks comes back to you

Don't forget first aid, for you and your Jeep.

If i were going to spend it on your jeep i would:

225 for the Teraflex BB and 600 for a set of rubi rims and tires off the forsale section.

see if you can get couple hundred for your stockers (200-300) and you should still have some money to work with for tow hooks, and recovery staps.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the great advice guys. I'm glad so many are willing to take deductions. As for the budget boost, if the jeep has to look silly for a short while I think it will be ok. I'll eventually have to buy new rubber.

Default My JK will look odd for a while

I received new 16 x 8 Rock Crushers for my Jeep build up article. But I don't have any tires except for the stock X 225/75/R16 that I have on it now. I can't afford new rubber yet so I don't know if I should wait til I get new tires or just go ahead and mount what I have on my new wheels.

$900... after reading what you have already, I think a winch, recovery tools, and rock rails would complete stage I of your Jeep.

i vote BB and new tires. what good are all the skid plates, armor, winch, hi-lift if your crappy stock tires can't even get you into situations where you would need all that stuff? (i'm assuming the X still comes stock with the minivan tires).
