How wide do 33s stick out with 1.5 spacers
I am thinking about upgrading to BF Goodrich MT TA KM 2s. I can get them for around 230 each. My question: How loud are they on the freeway. and If I need to add spacers to use stock rims and no rubbing, HOW FAR IF ANY DO THEY STICK OUT BEYOND FENDERS????
Thanks Jay

bfg's are really quite for a mudder and will stay that way IF you remember to rotate them on a regular basis. typically, once every 3k will do the job well. as far as wheel spacers go, i'm going to assume you are planning to run 12.50 wide tires and if so, they won't stick out hardly at all. in fact, they will sit just about even with your flares or, at least they will look that way.

I have 285/70/17 BFg KM2s on my rig with the stock Rubi wheels and Spidertrax 1.5" spacers. Tires sit about even with the edge of the flare, makes for a good look on the Jeep.

Add the spacer width and half the new tire width.
Let's assume you are getting 1.5" spacers and 33x12.50's.
The tire is about 2.5" wider than stock, or 1.25" on each side of the rim, right? So 1.25" for the tire + 1.5" for the spacer = 2.75" further out than you are now. Doesn't really seem like rocket surgery...
