I vote good if you use the tried and true design. I ran some on the front of my Corvette and never had an issue. I do admit though, even though I like the stock Moabs I will likely switch to a new wheel when it comes time to go with bigger tires.

I've ran apacers in jeeps truck and suvs, I don't even know how many I've had over the years, I think they're as safe as they can be. however I had two accidents in wich one of my wheels came off ( two times?) yes. and in those accidents I didn't have wheel spacers in my car. so I might think that cars without spacers are not that safe. I know thats not the case but proper installation is. a lot of compannies would rather not touch something because they're afraid of being sued if anything goes wrong.

Discount tire will not touch the Jeep if I put spacers on it. He tells me that is simply for laibilities and lawyers.

I have the TF spacers on mine. Express Tire had no issues when I had new rubber put on.
You install, torque then run them a day and torque again. After that you torque every tire rotation. Good to go! I prefer the steel spacers to the aluminum.

Some discount tire chain places won't even mount a tire that is not listed as a manufacturer option for that model year, etc....no balls.

I go to a local shop that has everything, and they let me test mount stuff in the lot, and have even taken out their sawzall once in a while to make SURE the tires fit, when needed, to drive the new meat home. (Try THAT at a cookie cutter franchise).
