Default How to remove Cowl Vent

Anyone know how to remove the side panel of a Cowl Vent on an '08 JK? The wind blew the door over and the mirror bracket managed to throw a nice dent right near the antenna and I dont know how to get that panel off to fix it... Thanks

maybe try one of those dent fixers? I'm ignorant to what thay are really called but there is one on base that has shop set up and fixes dents with out drilling or violating body panels with a BGH. Something along the lines of suction cups or whatever they use but a couple of folks are happy with the results beats sawsalling your body panels off to knock a dent out.

Use a spot weld type dent puller and then just do conventional paint/body work. Dent gone.

You might be able to get to it if you take the flare off. There is a good size gap between the fender and the subframe. It may take a paintless dent repair type tool to get that far in though.

What are you talkin' about? I saw you, you slipped off that muddy rock that everyone else was scared to try, and you glanced off a tree stump. It was awesome, and I will vouch for you.
