Default How much lift with stock shocks?

Is it possible to use my stock shocks with a rubicon express 3.5 inch lift by maybe adding teraflex shock extenders until I have the cash to do different shocks? I have a 2012 rubicon jku.

Just save ur money and do it right the first time. Be patient. The teraflex extenders are typically used for their 2.5 lifts.

Dirtman- at first I was looking at the teraflex 2.5, but have now been reading that I may need to get trackbars... I was just looking at the RE because it seems like it comes with more hardware

Also, I CAN afford shocks, but since the Rubi is brand new, I thought I would get some use out of the new shocks if possible. Eventually, I want to get bilsteins, but if I can get some use out of the stockers, that would be nice

Well, I COULD spend the money... Just would rather wait til I have MORE of it other things I'd like to pay for as well.

Or I could get cheaper shocks, but I've heard such good things about the bilsteins

No no, I appreciate your info... I was pretty solid in the TF 2.5 until I read about the track bar... Sounds like I can still go that route and change to the bilsteins later.

Thought I had filled out my profile... I'll have to redo that I guess.

Some 2.5 lift kits come with shocks or you can get the one with extentions to fit the stock ones
