I run 5.13 with 4" lift and 35s and its perfect. Averaging between 15-18 mpg combined, and around 2500rpm at 70 on highway. Also picked up a super chips to reflash the tire size and gear ratios and noticed a huge improvement to the automatic. Went from around 12mpg and no OD to the mileage above and full time OD. If I were going 37s, I'd go 5.38 on the auto, but don't think you'll be disappointed with 5.13s and 35s. I started with the 4.10s and glad I regeared.

lol, went to look around and get more opinions for 5.13 35's and auto and it only took 3 min on JK-FORUM to back what I was thinking.. 5.13 getting ordered asap...

Another vote for 5.13 and 35s.
I have a 2008 JKU auto with 3.5" lift and 35s. Regearing + Superchips to correct shift points was by far my best mod. As mentioned, it doesn't feel like a new motor, but I think "love my gears" whenever I need to merge with traffc or climb a long grade on the freeway.

After you put bigger tires on a jeep, regearing is the next best thing you can do for your jeep.
Makes it actually have some little amount of pep again.
Not to mention how much better its gonna feel when you throw it in 4-Lo and it starts crawling up stuff way better than with stock gears
I'm running 5:38 with 37's on a auto and wouldn't even consider driving a rig with bigger tires without gears again. Best thing I did for my jeep.

I have 93k miles. I run 33's daily and 35's on the trail. I just re-geared to 5.13's last week and LOVE THEM so far with the 33's on the road. OD is useful again! Next week I'll be going on an off road trip with 35's. Can't wait!
