How much can a battery take?
i have a 800CCA/1000cranking amps battery (single not dual system) and already have a warm m8000 and 2 PIAA fogs hooked up to them. i've recently ordered and am waiting for the ARB onboard air compressor for lockers and tires.
my question is basically can my AC Delco battery take all these hooks up or will this shorten the battery life. should i be investing in a dual battery kit soon?

You should be fine. The highest draw is by far the winch, so turn off what you can when you're winching, and have someone in the Jeep idling up also if you can (to get more from the alternator).
Besides the winch, the ARB compressor and some lights are no big deal. Have the Jeep running when using the compressor if you can and you'll be good. Hook up a voltage gauge if you're worried, don't let it get below 10 volts or so.
Loads by themselves don't shorten battery life unless you let the battery run down too much (if it's not a deep cycle). As long as you replenish what you use from the alternator, you can hook up as much as you want within reason.
All this is assuming you don't have a high powered audio system with multiple amps. That can kill a battery quickly due to the frequent and heavy load spikes.
