Default How much better are bilsteins than teraflex shocks?

I had a teraflex shock go bad and another is leaking, teraflex would probably replace them but I bought them used and don't feel right asking for replacements.

Are the bilstiens noticeably better? Just trying to decide if they are worth $100 more for the set or if I should pick up another set of teraflex shocks?

I have the Bilstein 5100 shocks. They ride great and no problems.

ride quality is totally subjective but, i've run both and for me, yes, the bilsteins are way better.

Kings are nice but a little expensive for me.

Looks like I will go with bilsteins and see how they are.

I'm planning on getting the bilsteins.... what would you say is different? Does the Jeep "wobble" less on the road?

I keep reading a lot of people having problems with their teraflex shocks like yourself. I've ran my bilsteins for about a year now and they have performed flawlessly and still look great! I'd definitely go with them again if I had too.

I guess I will find out how bilsteins are, I honestly didn't notice any difference going from stock to the tera shocks. Travel was better. Maybe it was because they were used, I don't know.
