Default How to minimize chance of death wobble with new lift?

Okay my stock 07x already has a death wobble, and its been on and off and the dealership has had it 4 different times and hasnt been able to fix it so I was wondering what I can do to not get it with my new lift any suggestions would be great

You need to find and fix the cause of DW before you install a lift if you are stock right now.

i had the DW after hitting a bump stock, replaced the steering stabilizer and problem solved. Idk if you checked the SS.

Death wobble is violent uncontrollable shaking of the front suspension. It is often triggered by a bump or variance in the road or trail while traveling at speeds. It is often related to the track bar or ball joints, but other steering and suspension components can have a play in it cause.

That's great, but a SS does not cause or fix death wobble. It will cover it up leaving a serious problem unresolved.

If its stock 07 theres a good chance the ball joints are done. How many miles do you have on your rig?

Yea it takes about two weeks for the ss to fail after installed and ill look at the thread thanks
