Thats pretty much what i did, wasnt quite that flat but pretty close. Guess ill surch around for somthing flat like that and give it a shot again.

Mine did the exact same thing. Tack welded mine for free and don't have to worry about it again

ha!! you failed to mention it fell on our downhill exit from Poison Spider trail in Moab. Last day in Moab... last trail...sun setting... and pop.
