The wiring harness all nice and labeled
the original oil filter. This bastard was on there from the factory since 2010 and it did NOT want to come off. usually you just punch a screwdriver through it but this filter has a rock guard under it and you cant do that. I really wish I had done this before the install.

1000 mile update:
First of all, it must be said that the VVT hemi makes WAY more power than the supercharged 3.8. I had a ripp stage 2 with bigger injectors, tuned PCM, headers, but the hemi is a lot different.
The hemi has learned a bit and now it lights up my 38x 14.50 toyos
I have a good comparison because I have the exact same jeep with the same tires, gears, everything except the engine and trans are the same.
I did get much better mileage with the supercharged 3.8. I was getting 15.5 mpg with the 3.8 and I'm only getting 13 with the hemi, but some of that is because its just so fun to hit the gas now.
The engine had old antifreeze in the coolant system that I thought I got out, but my heater core got clogged so it must have still had some in it. I flushed the system backwards and it cleared it out. That was the only problem Ive had so far.
The jeep has 5:13 gears with the 38's and it doesn't downshift on the freeway to pass. I marginally press the petal and the jeep just shoots forward. 63 mph is 2000 RPM with the 545 trans. The 3.8 always felt like I was hammering it to do anything. The hemi never revs past 2500 rpm.
I took it up into the mountains and on the return trip I realized that the truck hill decent mode works. With the OD off, tapping the brakes make the tranny hold a lower gear and slows the jeep without brakes. It worked so well I had to turn the OD back on coming home from big bear. very cool.

4000 mile update
Drove the Hemi 400 miles to the Dusy last week, did the trail and 400 miles home. zero problems.
I just turned 4000 miles on the drivetrain. Don't regret the swap one bit.

I am so jealous it isn't even funny. That is AWESOME! I want to do it so bad but can't stomach the expense of having it done...yet I'm too afraid to tackle it myself. This has me thinking now.

haven't had to yet.
its a 2011 so I wont have to smog it till next year (December)
it should pass. I have no DTC's, everything is in its stock location, no check engine light. the only thing I don't have is the mandatory 80000 miles on the vehicle.. But I'm getting close to 70k. just have to do about 12000 miles in the next year and a half...
or buy a new odometer.
CA really does suck for things like this.
