Default How to get crush sleeve out of steering stabilizer?
One of my crush sleeves in my RC steering stabilizer has deformed. Is there a trick to getting these out without damaging the rubber bushing around out?

Get a deep wall socket the size of the rubber bushing and then one the size of the sleeve and use a c-clamp or vise to press it out.

Maybe a 3/4" or a little bigger deep wall for the rubber bushing, then take a 1/2" or maybe a 7/16" socket on the other side to butt against the sleeve and vise the sleeve into the 3/4 deep wall.

A vice would be better, but I guess a hammer would work. Good luck.

If you use a hammer, just set the eye on two blocks of wood and beat the sleeve out with a socket

I think Ill try it will a c-clamp. Man these bushings from RC are crap.
