I have a neoprene cover for mine but I used it for the first last week on a stocker who was stuck on the trail so I could get by and now I've got some rust spots where the mechanism locks to the next step. Any ideas? WD40?

I just installed mine inside using the roll bar attach method, but it is right where the soft top folds down. I'm worried about wearing a hole in the top now. Anyone have this happen? Now I'm looking at modifying the boot that the soft top originally came in to go over the jack and isolate it from the top.
