How do I fix this?

Try to clean it up with a dremmel. If that doesn't work, hammer a slightly smaller socket on to it to get it off then throw the socket and lug nut in the trash and buy a new nut. Just don't f up the wheel or stud.

Looks like the socket wasn't engaged on the entire length of the nut.
If you think you can remove the brake calipers with the wheel still on you may be able to take the entire hub off and then drill out from the back?
Other than that, I'm at a complete loss. That sucks. I've broken two studs on my driver side rear in the last year but never split a lug nut in half.

They make kits, i know snap on does, it comes with 3 sockets that are made to be hammered onto stripped or broken lug nuts. Im a mechanic and they have never failed to get any lug nut off

If that's the attitude you're going to take then drive, or tow, it to a mechanic. We're all mostly shade tree mechanics in one form or another on the forum since a lot of us do our own work.
Best of luck.

P.S. I got it off. 3lbs sledge and an 11/16th socket.
