Default How difficult is it to install Chromoly Axle Shafts?

I have new shafts but don't know how to put them in? Is there a write up or video some where?

Rear for now, I bent one sliding about in the mud and found a large boulder hiding beneath the slop.

What else do I need besides the new shafts? Do I need a new seal or will the old seal and bearing come from the old shaft? Ive read both from different people so it's not entirely clear whether I need a new seal or not. I am suprised there's not a sticky for this.

Depending on who you bought these from you will need to order or reuse your old ones.

ABS tone rings
Backing plates

And then you will have to have it all pressed on .

Just as a FYI when you order shafts from us we can install all that stuff for you and ship it to you for ease of installation.

If you have any questions feel free to call me

Not to hijack but, David, have you heard anything about a release for RCV's CV shafts for the D30? I see they are still listed as pre-order items . . . was only curious.

Sorry to derail. . .

In regard to the ABS tone ring. Do I buy a new one of these? Do I remove it annd put it on my new axle shaft? How do I get it off? Or where can I buy a new one to press on? I need everything in the red box except the plate with the 4 bolts going through it.
