check the top of the spring and see if it has a puck. also you front sway bar links are way too short if you were on level ground. The sway bar should be level or slightly elevated on level ground.

Can't really see above the coils the only thing I feel is a piece of rubber. The sway bar links are only like 6" long

It could be sitting higher than your friend's '08 just due to vehicle weight. Different models also come with different spring ratings.

They are definitely not factory springs.

You can see the difference in this photo. Aftermarket springs have a much tighter winding.

The silver one is a stock spring. The black one is a Rock Krawler.

So maybe the did lift it then take the shocks and quick discos with them? Or did a half assed lift? I posted originally because I want to order quick discos and was told the lift was a 3.5 but can't seem to validate it. The discos I was looking at come in a lift size 3.5"-6" but don't give measurements of the link and I don't want to order the wrong size.

Disconnect the links, rotate the sway bar to just parallel and measure the distance between the connections, to see what length you require.

Looks like a half assed lift to me. Like said before check the link and see how much actual lift you have from those coils and go from there.

Those are definitely stock front links and I don't know of many spring lifts that keep the front stock links.

I noticed there is a label on the rear spring. That will typically have a part number written on it and possibly the manufacturer. It's hard to see but it does kind of look like an OEM spring P/N label. Get a better pic of the label on that spring and post it.

Here's what my stock Sahara rear looked like which is a similar pic as posted.

Aside from the number of coil turns, I'm not seeing much difference. That and they put the rear track bar bolt in backwards.
