I picked up some used wheels and tires a while back. They are 16" Soft 8's. I haven't looked real close at them but they do say MADE IN USA. How can I tell whether they are Cragar or Procomp? I need to by a fifth so I can run a Spare ....

 

The center caps look identical to my Procomps. I think the Cragars are different.

 

yeh the cragar center caps are rounded off those are flat and kinda fall back in a little so they would be different also the cragar center caps have Cragar in blue letters across it

 

The backspacing is different between the cragar and procomp versions, isn't it? Should be easy enough to check yours and verify against their specs.

 

I think it's funny how the Black Rock center caps are stamped "BLACK ROCK MADE IN USA" and on the inside of the cap theres a sticker that says made in China. Way to go!

 

Not trying to confuse this even more, but my Cragar 8's have the identical center cap pictured. Ordered the from Summit.

 

Yes .... looks like they are Cragars ... They are marked CT&W which is apparently Carlisle Tire and Wheel ... which supplies Cragar ... and probably others as well ....

Gonna order from Jegs for $62 .... I would order from Summit but I would have to pay Sales Tax in Georgia ...
