After reading this post I don't feel so bad about installing the HEMI and only getting 11.5 to 13 in the city and 13.5 to 15 on the highway. Although I do miss my 15-19 mpg that I use to get with the 3.8L, that is until I press on the skinny pedal and feel the rush. Live life with no regrets, hell it's a jeep for CHRIST sakes....lol.
ITS A JEEP THING!

I don't granny it nor do I drive like I stole it, I drive normal and I get 20 mpg in town, have made one trip on the freeway over 2 hours away and got 23 mpg. I drive a 2007 3.8 4door with a 3'' lift rolling on 32's. Going on 2 mo owning the Jeep.

I avg. 17mpg if I keep my foot out of it. But I didn't buy it for mpg. If and when I buy my commuter car, it will be a vw jetta tdi. Which avg. 45-50mpg. Take that prius.

I'm just over 5000 miles on my stock '13 JKU Rubi 4.10, and its settling in at just over 16 mpg. Mixed highway & city, and lots of highway miles are in traffic. I also drive aggressivly.

You're getting 21mpg in a Wrangler and you want more??? Dude, it's a brick on wheels.
Are you using the dashboard readout or calculating by hand? The dashboard lies, calculate it by hand for a few fill-ups and see what you're really getting.
