Default How can I boost fuel economy on the 3.6 liter

Is there any way to get better fuel economy on the new 3.6 liter? Preferably without voiding the warranty.

Maybe if you post the same question a 3rd time, you'll get the answer you're looking for

Ease off the skinny pedal! I get around 17 in the city and around 19-20 highway. I usually gauge off the economy light on cluster. I also have an auto with 3.73 gears. Sticks get better.

Remove your front drive shaft, use a skinny AT tire, lower your jeep, remove all un-needed weight(back seat, spare, tools, carpet, passengers, etc), use thinner synthetic oil for engine/drivetrain, dont ever exceed 55mph, dont push the gas pedal ever more then 1/3 of the way down. Do all of that and you should get at least another 2mpg....HAHA. You will but who would want to do all that for 2mpg.

Don't forget replacing your bumpers for carbon fiber ones. Also get the whole frame made from titanium. Also carbon fiber hood and body for the whole jeep.

I forgot to this to the other post on the stock tech post.

Jeeps and fuel economy don't go hand in hand. Ease up on the gas and shift around 2k rpm's. not much more you can do. Buy a Honda?

Get some street tires with lots a air presssure. Watch the "eco" light in the dash (dont let it turm off). The CAI companies claim you will increase fuel economy also.
