Black Rock Wheels 997685042 - Black Rock Series 997 Type 8 Steel Wheel in Matte Black for 99-10 Jeep® Vehicles with 5x5 Bolt Pattern - Quadratec

I think I've settled on these rims for my 07 Rubicon and was wondering how big of a tire I can fit on there?

Are you asking how big of a tire you can fit on that wheel or on your Jeep?

um both? I have the stock 2" lift that came with the Rubi. It's a 2-door if that matters

ETA: I do plan on lifting it more later. But not anytime in the near future

I wouldn't run anything bigger then a 33" on a stock JK without flat fenders and/or cutting some pinch seams.

Well you said stock lift. Jeep states it has a certain lift from the factory yes. However, in order to properly clear 35s, you would need to buy a 2.5" lift, which is 2.5" ON TOP of the OEM height of the Rubicon. When we all talk about lifts here, we do not take into account the factory ride height. The Rubicons are slightly higher, but its not by much. So my previous statement stands. 33s on your stock rubicon, 35s if you put a 2.5" lift on it. 37s if you do 2.5 with flat fenders and cutting. Or go to a 4"+ lift.

Are you stock, or do you have a 2" lift? You comment of a 'stock 2" lift' contradicts itself. The is no such thing as a stock lift.

Exactly. Jeep says they are lifted, but compared to what? Stock is stock in our eyes. I think that's what the OP is referring to.
