The biggest thing is research. Jeep parts are expensive, you don't want to have to buy the same aftermarket part more than once. Make sure you know what you are getting before you pay for it, and make sure it is what you want. There are at so many styles and choices, don't get mod happy and just start buying.

If/when you start looking at lifts make sure you know what parts are needed for the lift height you choose to go with. Different parts are necessary for different heights. With lower lifts like 1.5-2.5 some parts become optional. Cheaper lifts will tell you that more of the parts are optional, then you don't get them, the Jeep drives like crap, and you realize that those parts indeed were not optional.
Again just do lots of research. Jeeping, and modding Jeeps can both be a lot of fun, just know what you are getting into before throwing money and parts at it.

Hope this helps.

Happy Jeeping!

You want suggestions for an AT tire? For mud? Or are you wanting a more aggressive tread?

How about a set of take-offs from a rubicon? The market is usually flooded. You might find a set, with rims, for cheap.

For non-stock tire sizes, with no lift, many people will say that a 33x10.50 (or metric equivalent) should be a safe bet. If you go taller or wider, you may need to think about some trimming or steer stop adjustment or adding wheel adapters. Bunch of variables, so it just depends. Best thing you can do is read as much as you can, and remember that just because something worked or didn't work for someone else, does not mean it will or won't work for you.
