3.21s with 35s in town and flat highway is livable.

Off-road is not good! 4wd hi is useless on anything other than flats. U must keep the rpms up. Not sure if it's the same with an auto, but with a 6 SPd u need to use 4lo doing any hills.

A gear upgrade is the best mod u can do.

I have 35's and was running 3.21's for a couple of months. Forget about 6th and 5th gear. Just got my 4.88's and love it! Can cruise at 80 mph on the freeway now without any down shifting. My jeep is fun again!

you will loose power and use more gas.

Lifting it makes the brick push more wind, bigger tires takes more to get them and keep them rolling but you'll be out of the jeep rpm power-band.

I have an auto with 4.10's and 35's, mileage went from 18-21 freeway to 15 -17, in town I don't look... had to use SuperChips 91 tune to get power back, the cost/mile using premium is cheaper than 87 tune.

Getting 4.88 gears this week - should put me closer to stock with just a little more grunt for weight. No I don't want 5.13's - it puts the rpm too high and can't lock out OD at higher RPM

I have 5.13 and 35's used the aev procal to adjust computer. Havr an issue finding a good gear ( auto) going up long hills on freeway. Other than that regearing was the best upgrade evet

6-speed, 4.11 gears, 35s. OK all around. Not fast, but not too bad either. Could be better. 3.21s and auto tranny would be bad.

Autos come with 3.73 default. I have 3.21 6 speed and heavy ass 35's. Have to use 4th and 5th on the highway but it still moves just fine.
