But it looks like it'll fit a flat/peak of the stinger like MetalCloak sells.. At least it's another option

The MC one is just a piece of Velcro with a d-ring on it. You could probably make it yourself for $10.

Don't attach winch line to stinger. Exposed winch line means there is a risk of damaging it or breaking it. You may not even notice until it fails under load and injures you.

Get a Factor 55 flatlink or prolink or other thimble to mount flush against your fairlead, leaving the line safely protected.
