Default Hot Seat

Anyone thought of making some air conditioned seats for the JK? I love running with the doors and top off, that's why I bought it, but I get some serious swamp a$$. Would be nice to have some cool air blowing through the seat.

I did a quick Google search and found something that might help. It's called the SummerSeat Self-Cooling Car Seat Cushion. $59.99.

katzkin makes seat coolers

its a pretty complicate install, you'll need to remove the covers and cut the cushion foam to install them, and you will need perforated seat covers instead of the current cloth

Wal mart sells a seat coushion made of wooden beads that are held together by 100 pound fishing line. They sell for about $8.00 a piece and do a great job of letting the air circulate under your legs and lower back and are actually pretty comfotable.

Yep, I had one of those in my very first vehicle, an '88 Ford Ranger with vinyl seats. You could sweat off a pound or two in the thing in the summer. The bead seat cushin made a big difference.

That's not actually such a bad idea. Collecting fares would help to offset the price of gas
