Mine does, in fact it's a PITA to open the hood now because you have to move the "hook" out of the way with your hand (through the grill opening) so the hood will open far enough to get your hand between the grill and the hood so you can finish opening it.

Here's some pics...it's hard to really tell what it looks like now because it's behind the grill....

The little black "tab" on the right rotates to the UP position to lock the hood...it doesn't let the "hook" move over to the right which is what "locks" the hood.

Here's the one I've got (made by Rugged Ridge)

No problem.... it's not the best one out there, but it's only $20 and it gets the job done.

I am actually waiting for a company to make some lockable billet replacement for the stock rubber hold downs like has been done for other jeeps in the past. I have seen several "bling" replacements but they don't lock. What kind of dumbasses thought of that one.

Edit: Something like this is what I'm holding out for.

Screws....no drilling required (holes are already there), I installed it in about 10 minutes.

To all of you who don't know....I tried removing the spring on my Jeeps hood and it stopped the hood lift, another member started a post on it and it really did work.
Now at 85 on the highway nothing! its stays where it should be.
