Default Hood Lock ... Yes? No?

What is everyone's thought on a hood lock? Is it worth it? Yes? No?

I'm looking for thoughts on the front hood lock version (Mopar or Tuffy), not the side type locks (RR). I have a stock JK under the hood, so there may not be any reason to bother with a hood lock, as I don't really have much under the hood that's desirable.

Thanks for your thoughts!

BOLT has a new hood lock that uses your factory key.

Like what? I guess you're not concerned about someone stealing your battery or other electronics under the hood.

Agreed it all depends where you live. Where I live it isn't that bad I just have it for security. I have the tuffy hood lock and love it.

the reviews look decent... love that it uses factory key fob. Expensive though... I live in the burbs, so low priority for me. If you have a lot of mods under the hood... (compressor, batteries, lighting, supercharger etc..) its cheap insurance.

If you like buying things under the hood even though you bought it once before because some clown had easy access to whats under your hood.

This is just an additional security measure.

Oh what ever newb!

My mopar hood lock is my best investment. I have an air compressor, and spod under the hood. Plus the mopar lock stops all hood flutter.
