Default hood light rack

I did a search (both through the forum and google) and can't seem to find a hood light rack. I saw one that I liked a couple months back on here somewhere but can't sweem to find it now. (thought it was a quadratec thing but apperantly not) Anyone know where I can find one?

And on that note does anyone know if this kind of setup would cause excessive hood glare? I would think with them sitting right ontop of the hood it might get a REALLY bad glare.

Were you looking for something like this...

Don't know about the glare but it might not be too bad as it does sit quite a bit forward from the windshield.

well thats just stupid to block the windshield wash sprayer. Whats the point. I'd at least take out the middle light.

I don't like it at all! Bad glare plus block your view.. You don't need all of them lights. My 6 work great!

I know 4 Wheel parts is a dirty word on here right now but the issue of OffRoad Adventures magazine prior to the one in circulation now has a pic of a JK with a hood mount light bar in a KC add. I spoke to KC yesterday and it is in the works and sched for release by the end of this year. No price is available yet either.

Over 100 bucks for 20 dollars worth of tube and plate steel, and some welding time.

that is somethig like what I have seen. 'Cept the one Isaw had 4 or 5 smaller lights instead of 3 larger ones.

And now that I am looking at the pic jeepnxj3 has a very valid point about the washing fluid sprayer... Any thoughts on this? For some reason I really like the idaew and look of the hood rack but keep finding reasons why it may not work.

Not sure but my project this weekend is mounting lights where the rubber windshield stops are I will make sure to post photos once done. Though a light bar would be ideal why speand the extra money when I can use that for other Jeep parts!!

There was a post earlier in the week about the shoddy service 4 wheel parts provided and the lack of knowledge that the counter staff had. Also some negative comments about there price point on a lot of parts. Some members from Atl said they had good service, I have had good service and they cut me a break on parts sometimes since I buy lots from them.
