Went from lots of flutter to none. Had it like this for 17000 km. No problems.

12" black zip ties. Will last a few years before needing replacement. In 20 years of zip ties they'll cost as much as Daystars.

I did zip ties and in the sun here they didnt last long if you opened the hood alot. Took out the spring and it helped alot.. Now with my 18 dollar hood vents theres no issues

Zip-ties work great for me. About 120K miles with them over seven years, and had to replace one on occasion about three or four times. There is also the Brett Woods/JeepSWAG solution--a small piece of rectangular tubing zip-tied between the hood safety latch and its catch point in front of the radiator. He used to throw that in with most anything you bought from him in the past, but anyone could put one together for about a buck or so in parts (okay, more than that for the length of metal that would give you enough to make a dozen or more, LOL). It also works, and leaves the spring in (as do the zip-ties).
