ahhh yes, well, if you use 1" pipe like i did, the bolt head sits in that channel there real nice and doesn't spin.

True, mine is kinda heavy, but when I install winch I will not have any problems bending bumper or pulling reciever hitch out of bumper. I have a tendency to overkill things.

thats what i thought... and im guessing you used stock bolts?

Me? No, i used 1/2" x 3" Grade 8 Bolts and nuts. Nothing more or less is needed. Well, maybe a shorter bolt.

Does anyone have an idea of how I could make a stubby with a grille to protect the fenders? I saw a guy who modified his bought stubby by adding tubeing that extended out to the fenders... Now I cant find the pic..

Sure, just follow the write-up, then go to a shop that can bend tube with your idea of the hoop and have them bend it for you.
