Hey All, anyone install their own hitch? If so where did you get it at, and which brand? How much will this set me back? I have a 2009 Sahara and there is a small notch where I assume a hitch can be bolted on. I have a small trailer that I use to haul things back and forth to my cabin and such. I believe it is a 5'x8' trailer that I use to use for my quad (as the kids came the toys went) Any answers are appreciated, Thanks in advance. wing79

Just one other small consideration if you plan to replace your rear bumper: Many of the after-market bumpers come with a built-in hitch, and almost all of the after-market bumpers are not compatible with the stock hitch. But, the stock hitch is best if you'd like to keep maximum tow capacity.

I got mine off of E-Bay along with the harness for around 75.00. The hitch is made by Rugged Ridge. Easy to install, only 4 bolts.

I looked around and didn't trust aftermarket ones (few had proper specs)... went with Mopar one from the dealer for cheap ($75cdn IIRC) and went with the 7pin wiring hardness, also from dealer.
