Hit a deer: Need a new bumper!!!
#11
I have the AEV front bumper, you can get it with a winch delete plate. I hit a deer too, a month ago and it held up phenomenally. There was just some hair and blood splatter that cleaned right up!
Excellent product and great fit!

Glad your are OK. Sometimes the deers go through the windshield and it's a mess.
You mentioned not planning on installing winches but considering doing exploring and trail rides.
In that case, I recommend you getting a bumper that will let you install a which in the future, just in case you change your mind.
I have a LoD full width and the front winch cut hole can be easily hidden by the license plate and the winch plate can cover the top if mounted upside down.
However, it also came with a very solid light bar that doubles as a protection for the grille and radiator in case you have another close encounter with a deer.

This is the rugged ridge XHD mod bumper... Mine has a winch but they do make a "NON-WINCH" version without the hole for the winch completely, u can get hoops, stingers, mid and full length end caps, and also toolbox end caps! And it mounts ur factory fogs

This looks great! Do you have a lift or leveling kit installed? How much weight would you say you added over the stock bumper that weighs around 35 pounds?

I have the teraflex leveling kit. It probably added 50-60 pounds. I think I remember 4wheelparts saying the shipping weight was listed close to 100, but I don't remember exactly. Prob more like 90
