Default Hinge help..

I hope Im not the only one that has chipped rear door hinges from the gravel roads.... To my horror today I noticed rust there..... I tried side steps and splash gaurds but still get chips even without big tires sticking out everywhere....... Does any one think a hinge trip to the Rino liner will work?? May not look great but chips suck!!

I just noticed today in fact that my rear driver side hinge is chipped. I haven't checked the other side yet. I was thinking about putting some clear nail polish on it, hoping that'll help it from getting worse.
