Default Hi-Lift mount alternatives for mounting in the cabin

I've browsed a dozen pages on Hi-Lift mounting... Not finding what I am looking for.

Any one have an alternative way to mount a Hi-Lift similar to the way the Jeep Swag setup mounts, but that would allow the softtop to be deployed with the jack in place?

I know there are solutions that mount the Hi-Lift at the base of the roll bar, but that eats up precious cargo space in a two door. I'd like to keep the Hi-Lift inside the cabin rather than mounted on the hood or rear gate/bumper.

I was thinking of mounting mine on the front of my Tuffy Security deck, along with some other stuff. But, you would have to spend $400 for a Tuffy Security deck first!

I will be watching this one. I need to figure out where to put mine. Hopefully a little cheaper than the one from Jeep Swag, $79.95 is pricey to me for so little.

I'm good with mounting at base of the rollbar. It doesn't take up that much room imo

I agree but I haven't really loaded it down with cargo. I can see that it may be a pain to get at larger items when the rear seat is folded up or is completely out.

I mount to the base of my roll-bar as well. It doesn't take up much space and keeps the jack indoors, which is great in the winter. This is how I carry mine a majority of the time.

When I wheel with the top down, I actually mount the Hi-Lift on my hood (yes I have two mounts - a little much, but it works for me). Because when then top is down, it does completely cover the roll-bar mounted hi-lift and I want it accessible - hence the hood mount.

It did a little bit. But not the mount, just the jack itself. I have a velcro strap (you can see it in picture in my first post) and I used a wooden shim (like they sell at home depot for installing doors and windows) and it's quiet now. Since installing the mount, I have installed an Expedition One rear bumper and tire carrier and I'm thinking about using their Hilift jack mount as an alternative. I'm gonna be loading it up with camping gear in about a month so if the jack location becomes a problem, I'll go that route. I do like having it inside for security and being out of the elements though.
