I'm actually not in Manassas. I'm just about 10 minutes south, in Nokesville.

Edit: Are you the 4 door Rescue Sahara usually parked near the Autozone parking lot off of Sudley Rd? Every time I go to refill my burnt oil, there's one parked in front of some store next to it.

x2 on mounting between the roll bar in the back, like AR JK Rubi's post.
Just get some exhaust pipe brackets and a couple of steel straps that you can bend to shape, and you'll have a low-cost mount that works very well. You'd think that this location would be in the way, but it's high enough to stow cargo bins below and low enough not to block the rear-view mirror. And it's easy to get the jack in and out without scratching paint or breaking windows.

Inside mount on the top of the roll bar with a Jeepswag.com mount. Really out of the way and I added my pull pal arm, a shovel and ax. No rattles or squeaks, relatively easy to get out when needed. The only downside is that you put a dirty item back inside the jeep for the ride home. That's why I have a large water can outside. Click image for larger version

Here are the few I could get. Maybe able to get more tomorrow in the daylight.... I slide it in top first from the passenger side. Click image for larger version

I'll get a pic when i get home but i have it on the hood, i believe 40 bucks from ebay.

i like it on the hood the best bc 1. its outside the vehicle not getting the inside muddy and 2. I already have a heavy tire carrier in the back and i wanted to even out the weight distribution and put it closer to the front. I personally like the look more of it in the rear on the tire carrier but i dont want so much weight back there sagging my springs and giving it a non leveled look.

just something to consider

I've got a KargoMaster rack and I recently moved it to the rear crossbar on the rack. I use the Hi-Lift tube mounts and it holds it great. I did have to bungee the base down since it was rattling like crazy. I'm sure it used to when I had it mounted on the light bar above my front bumper, I just couldn't hear it as well.

I have mine on the hood because I like the look, keeps weight off the back, keeps the inside clean, and the jack is pretty much protected from mud or road salt. I use the ACE brackets and have been really happy with them.

Well it looks like Sanata decided where I am going to mount it. He came by late with a hood mount for me.
