Question

Looks great! What size tire is that? I am mounting a 35 on back and wonder if there will be enough clearance.

How's it work with opening the tailgate? Is that a tow hook or a hay hook? Looks great, the jack and the hook!

How is the SWR with that antenna mount? I read about antennas needing a ground plane, with RF grounding straps all over the vehicle. Or is that mostly for HF?

I'm a new ham so I hope I have the terms right.

Thanks,
Lonny

Default hi jack mount

looks cool, a little to evasive a mounting spot for me. drilling into the body and cutting the plastic hinge covers...OUCH! so no conserns with bending, stress, corrosion etc?

i too mounted a hi jack on the jk with same mounts but choose a less aggressive location (to the body that is)

Hmm. When I'm stuck that front bumper always seems to be under water.

What did you do to keep those holes you drilled from rusting? I'm sure there's some bare metal.
