Default Hi lift extreme measurements help!?

I'm wanting to pick up a hi lift extreme. But I'm wonder the length of these. Is the 48" and 60" models referring to the overall length of the jack or is the the usable jacking distance?

I'm wanting the extreme and with the added clamp on top I'm wondering the the over all length is.....

I'm pretty sure it's the overall length, but I think they have a usable length chart on their website.

Overall length is 52" with the clamp on the top. It is removable and can be installed anywhere in the middle of the jack. With it removed the overall length is just under 47".
