I know the post you're referring to. I believe that was a JKU though wasn't it? The rails are longer and have a greater span between the mount points which might be the cause of greater flex.

Ya it was a yellow jku. Sorry using the phone and didn't check if yours was 2dr or 4dr

I blew out a sidewall at a Jamboree in October. We sure wished we had a bottle jack. Everyone had Hi-lifts. But there wasn't enough room to use it (handle too long) in the washed out stream bed we were in. We finally got the factory jack to work after finding and stacking rocks.

For lifting your stock JK, or any JK for that matter with a highlift I would recommend a lift-mate. I can be found on the highlift site under accessories. It is invaluable.

I agree with this unless you need to change a tire. This is by far the safest way to use a hi lift
