I'll take some pics of the engine and transmission. I'll need some help on what's the best kit and method of putting this beast in my JK. I've already noticed that I'll need to do some work on this , some parts are broken and the wiring harness has been cut in a few different places. So I'll need some expertise on this project from start to finish. But I'm on my way to more power and joining the HEMI club
Just got my AEV kit in so here is a pic of what all came with the kit. Other minor parts are enroute from the dealership. Can't wait to get this thing together!!

Hemi is finally being installed today and should be finished by the end of the week pending a few parts to complete the install.

TXPRO 4X4 I see. I get a lot of my parts thru there. Sean is very pro military. He gives good prices to members of another 'Jeepers' club.. 'Military' type

Yeah and Santa keeps giving , just came across a set of 79 Ford Dana 60s on Craigslist for $2,000.00 so I'll pick those up this weekend and get Sean to look them over and install them with a set of Adams 1350 Driveshafts.

Default It's ALIVE!!

Sean at TXPRO 4X4 came through!! Well we finally got this beast to start with some help from AEV engineers, we had to send the AEV computer back because it was the wrong one for my engine( it would appear that I have a non-VVT hemi, go figure!). Once the new computer came in we hooked everything up and she fired right up. Now my gas mileage isn't worth a crap(12 to 13.5 mpg) but it's a HEMI for Christ sakes...lol. Anyway I'll get with AEV in the morning and see if there is anything I can do about that MPG issue and I'm wondering if my SuperChips Flashpaq will work with this new setup? The procal that came with the hemi kit is very basic with its functions. Also maybe someone on here can help with how to identify a VCT hemi from a VVT hemi?

Dude so jealous right now. As far as the flashpaq, the one I got said it was compatable with tjs, xjs, zjs, 2007-2010 jk 3.8 and the 5.7l Hemis. Now not sure how the vvt will come in to play. Best of luck to you. Sick Jeep!

Yeah I have the Superchips Flashpaq 3875 and you are correct in what I says it can accomendate, yet when I speak to the techs at Superchips they said that they don't has a tune for the hemi swap, the have tunes for jeep cherokee and jeep commander 5.7 hemi still in the orginal vehicle but not one for a swap. I called false advertisement....lol. Yet and still I'm willing to try in on my jeep and pray I don't fry the computer.

I did a 2012 5.7 VVT truck motor swap this spring in my driveway. Very happy with results and great low end torque. I used JSS for the parts and he paired a Diablosport Predator to my rig for any adjustments.
