Can someone familiar with the Hemi conversion tell me what to look for in terms of the motor and tranny that I need in order to do a 5.7 Hemi swap. The motor I came across is a 5.7L from a 2005 Jeep Cherokee, will it work?

I'm pretty sure the engine mounts are different, but I've never done the swap, so don't hold me on that. Id look through the threads and find someone who has done the swap and PM them. Just my 2c

They're the major guys out there. Get the numbers from the hemi motor and tranny, so when you call them, they can tell you if you should go for it.
I know Jeep hemis are easier to swap in then Dodge Truck hemis due to the exhaust manifolds.

I just finished putting in a 2011 Hemi VVT out of a Ram truck and it's bad ass! I would suggest calling Todd at jeep speed shop. He can hook you up with anything you need and his customer service will defiantly come in handy if you do it yourself

I did the swap myself and no problems at all. I did break the clock spring and lost cruise control, but that was my fault. 250.00 later and a new clock spring, my cruise and ESP was back. Todd has answered all my calls and has had a answer for just about every problem I came upon.
