Default Help with Winch choise. Used Warn 9.5ti or engo new

So I am debating between a warn ti for 600 that is used (2 years old and little use) or a new engo 10s. Any input would be great. I keep going back and forth. Any input what to check on used winch? I was going to hook it up to a battery and test the spool with a trail hitch set up. Not sure what else to check. Thanks for the help.

I went Engo. I know Warn is a good winch but I just could t justify spending the money on one. My Engo has worked as advertised. Many times.
I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Now watch the fireworks from all the Warn bigots.

You can't go wrong with either one. The 9.5 is a great winch, and parts are readily available if something goes wrong, and the Info is a very solid winch for the price as well.

I have seen quite a few good reviews on the Engo lately, but the Warn sounds like a great deal for that price. (less than half of new for a 2 year old Warn?) Definitely take a look. If it works and looks to be in decent shape, I would strongly consider it over any of the new budget winches.

Thanks. That's what I think I am going to do. Check it out and if its clean and runs good I will probably go for it.

I have had my warm winch for close to 10 years and it has been on 3 different jeeps. It still pulls like a son of a gun!! I say warn all the way!!
