Default Help! w/rear axle housing removal

Decided to remove the housings to get the gears changed and some bracket welding done.

I can't figure out how to remove one of the electrical connectors from the rear housing. The one I'm having trouble with is on the pumpkin. I'm assuming it is a sensor to indicate the status of the locker. The connector is plastic and appears to be held in place with a 9mm bolt into the pumpkin. I took the 9mm bolt out but the connector doesn't easily remove, really don't want to force it.

Does anybody have a clue on how to remove this?

Thanks

There should be a red tab that slides partially out of the connector then squeeze the clip in the back of the connector to release the locking tab

Thanks for responding, but I'm having trouble with the other connector. Not the one with the red tab.

it should have only been an 8mm, but great if you got it out...keep pulling out and your will find yet another bulkhead connector from the locker coil...that should do it

Thanks alot. Sorry about the size mistake. I didn't have my glasses on! It was the same size as all them damn bolts in the drive line flanges. (I'd like to have a few words with the engineer that designed those drive lines, what a pain in the a$$ to remove)
