Default Help...stubby front bumper

SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM FOR PICS!!! HELP ME CHOOSE

I have a budget of $400 for a new front stubby.

Heres what I want:

Spots for factory fog lights
D rings, or tow hooks
Possibly a winch mount, not sure, if I want to get a winch mount or not
I want something that looks good and not like some super cheap p.o.s.

Any suggestions are a big help, keep in mind my budget of $400. I've looked at a lot of stubbies over time, and am not sure which ones hold up the best (no rust, no chipping of powder coat, etc.).

Also any links to previous posts people know of would be great, I did a search and got like a million results.

Thanks in advance.

Rugged Ridge XHD has a stubby, a place for factory fogs, D-rings, the ability to add a winch, add different bars and hoops and can be had for well under $400

I bought the winch bumper and the hoop last week, got free shipping too from CSEoffroad.com.

Just installed today and it looks great. (got too dark to take pics, those will come tomorrow.)

Rancho has all that you want and for $300, then you can get other mods with the extra $100...

I guess me and piginajeep have similar taste. heh. here is my PJ stubby. I am planning on a winch on top, but have not decided on spending the cash on D-rings or adding this other thing I have in mind.

Hey - so I was actually considering the Rancho, but are the wholes on it big enough for the factory fogs? And how do they mount in the holes?

I was looking at the Rugged Ridge XHD stubby and like how the fogs mount in, there was a nice right up on here somewhere, but I can't seem to find anyone using the Rancho front bumper.

Also anyone running the Olympic stubby? Or the Or-Fab? Or the Rock Hard?

i have seen all of the bumpers mentioned up close and in person and can tell you that the holes on the rancho are the exact size for your factory fogs and mount to a bracket behind the bumper itself. MUD PLZ is running this bumper now and it is very nice. the or-fab and rock hard are hard to beat as well. serveapurpose is running the or-fab and he can help you with any questions you might have about it and fish is running the rock hard and so he can help you with that.

I vote LoD. Well worth the extra cost and wait time.
