I would think that this says that your not flexing that much. Isn't there a problem with shocks specs for a 2.5" lift on a vehicle that is lifted taller than 2.5"?

You can run 37s with no problem with a 2.5" lift! I have the Tf 2.5" coil lift with 37s and no rubbing at full flex.

I would also suggest a 1" body lift because when you go higher then 2.5" with suspension you start running into high cost like drivelines track bars brake lines and such.
