Help picking a tire size please
2011 JKU Sahara 3.75 gears
Wheels: Ruggeri Ridge 17x9
Tire Considerations
285/75/17 - 33.83x 11.22
295/70/17 - 33.26 x 11.61 <-- Leaning towards this
295/75/17 - 34.42 x 11.61
305/70/17 - 33.81 x 12.01
Lift: Teraflex coil leveling kit.
Or Please suggest other “small” lifts that would not impact my ride very much.
Jeep will be my daily driver 60 miles per day. Since I will be spending most of my time on the roads in this thing, I want it to be comfortable drive.
Thank you very much for your suggestions as I am not experienced with Jeeps yet

with the coil leveling kit, i might recommend that you just stick with the 285's. that would come up to being about a 33" tire and will fit the best and have the least power drain with your 3.73 gears. the 2.5" budget boost will work well too.

I too have a 2011 Sahara and have done alot of research on lift and tires.
I opted for a larger lift - AEV 4.5 premium and Nitto Terra Grappler 295-70-18 (34.4 x 11.6) and staying with the stock rims. Finishing this today (hopefully). I chose the larger lift - could have got away with 3.5" - because I may want 37s in the future after I run through these 35s, and the price difference was only ~$75.00
I think you'll find that with a small lift or budget boost you'll be fine with the 295-70-17 (33.3 x 11.6).
But might I suggest that you stay with the stock rims and run spacers? You'll save money and keep a good look for your ride. Maybe run a 275-70-18 (33.2 x 10.8). These will fit fine on stock rims and meet your 33" rated tire. Sure the 18" is more expensive, but there are deals out there if you search hard enough.
On another note - the stock tires on our jeeps are roughly 32" - seems like a bit of work for such a small lift. Maybe save a little coin and do a full spring lift (of your choice/needs) and larger tires. You'll probably end up going there anyway. There are plenty of great kits out there that maintain if not improve on-road ride and provide a very capable off-road ride as well.
Which ever way you go, go with a grin and enjoy your Jeep.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
I really want 35s with a 2.5 Lift.
But I figured 34’s would be a bit easier on the stock gears which I plan on running for a while. What are all the sizes that are considered 34’s for 17 inch wheels?
I don’t care for any of the stock JK wheels so those will be gone right away. I also want the wider wheel/tire stance

look at 33x12.50R17 tires (32.8x12.5) with a 2.5 BB lift. This way down the line if you want 35's you can fit 35's and still utilize some of the components from the 2.5BB with a coil spring lift. Ran my 33x12.50R17's on a 2" BB for the first 1.5 years and it worked out great and some of the components I had on the BB I could still use on my 2" OME HD coil spring lift (bumpstops & new shocks).
2-2.5" lift will look good with a 33x12.50. I love the look of a wider tire over a skinny tire.
my 33x.12.50 on a 2" BB
