I wouldn't get too worked up about it. I've slowly gotten used to the idea that my jeep makes lots of noises. Some I've figured out how to fix over time, some I haven't. If someone on the forum figures one out, I usually try it, but don't stress if it doesn't work.

Noises I've fixed:
- door bumping (put tape on the latch)
- hardtop front panels creaking (removed the big hand screws)
- steering knock (greased inside the shaft boot)
- engine noise getting in the cab through the steering shaft (pounding the bushing back up into the firewall and installed a clamp to keep it up there)
- sun visor creaking (tightened up the screw)
- interior windshield trim creaking (tightened up the screws)
- tweeter housings creaking (tightened up the screws)

Noises still running wild and free:
- The driver's door plastic creaks, mostly when it's really cold
- Come to think of it, just about every part of the jeep creaks when it's cold
- rattling sound on acceleration for a little bit when started cold

It's a jeep. Drive it hard, drive it often. Cheers!
