Help Needed on Mopar/Fox 3 Inch JK Lift
Hey guys, Hoping someone out here can help, as Mopar customer service, three local dealers and Quadtrec counld not.
I have a 2013 Rubicon 4 door that I purchased an installed a Mopar 3 inch lift kit with fox dual shocks. The part number of the kit is P5156140.
I shipped the Jeep on an auto carrier from California to Chicago last week. It arrived in Chicago yesterday with a front spring on the driver side that is bowing out toward the tire, and rubbing the bump stop. The passenger front spring looks a little bent out also, but bump stop was not touched. The bump stop on the driver side is bent forward slightly and totally scraped up. The spring has scrape marks on each round of spring as if it was so compressed it was rubbing on itself. There was only about an inch of space between the tire and the stock fender edge, which seems like it was strapped very tightly for five days while it was in-route.
First, I had no idea a spring could be damaged from being overly compressed or in a compressed position for that amount of time. But apparently it did.
I cannot find out any information about the parts that are in this kit. Not even from Mopar performance 800 number. Does anyone know who makes the springs that are included in this kit? I need two new front springs and I think new bump stops.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide. This is totally frustrating and we have a call into the auto carrier, but you know they are going to say that they didn't do it and it could have been like that before we shipped it. Which I know is absolutely was not damaged before we shipped it.

i thought teraflex or rubicon express made those kits. did you try and drop the axle and rotate the springs?some need to be positiond in a certian way. even strapping the vehicle down to the bumps shouldent cause them to bow like that.

I just realized that it says TeraFlex on the bumpstop! Can't believe I didn't notice that! LOL! I'm going to reach out to them in the morning.

If so I can about gurantee that the driver chained the frame to "suck it down" as we say, this is done to get the height down so it doesn't hit the bottom side of a bridge...Go after the trucking company and don't let up !
Its idiots like this that give all us car haulers a bad name..
One more question, humor me here, was it a Russian that delivered your rig ??

Teraflex makes the kit.
Disagree, Teraflex reputation is quality and great service.
Agree, if the vehicle was damaged in transport, it's the hauler who should be buying you new springs and paying to have them replaced. You paid good money to haul it, not break it.

Yes, I would say the guy as Russian! how did you know, lol! And yes, the Jeep was on the top of the carrier. ****ers won't even get back to us about it. Gonna keep after the shipping company and the people at TeraFlex have been super cool. Will get whatever parts we need out right away. Just hard to tell how damaged the bump stop is. Bent forward slightly on driver side and scratched to shit.
