What are the vehicle minimum requirments and extra gear do they require?

Nothing crazy just normal stuff most people would have wheeling, but they do say at minimum a limited slip diff. or lockers. But they actually require the limited even for the suv runs.

A true trac in the front would actually help your BLD system work even more efficient on most everything other then very big rocks. Im not sure I would put one in the back just because I wouldnt want to listen to it all the time but for the front on a D30 it really is a great option and not super expensive to do.

Bigger tires and more suspension travel can and will compensate for lack of lockers or LSD. So to say it's required, doesn't really say much if they are not considering tire size. I seriously doubt you are not going to make it through the trail, or won't find an easier line. I'd try to find out which trails they are going to run and look up pics/videos from these places. Then decide for yourself. I really can't think of a situation where lack of an LSD will be a deal breaker for a JK, especially with upgraded tires.

I don't know if its your case or not but alot of clubs based these rules on TJ's,YJ,s,CJ's etc.
A stock JK usually spanks a modified TJ on trails.

If I were you I would drop the lunchbox locker in the front and not worry about it. It isn't expensive and will definitely make your jeep work better. If you don't like how it works you can take it out after the run. There, problem solved.

The Dana 30 yes I know its not as strong as a 44 but its problem is when you start running 513s.. I have a Buddy running an arb and 4.88s in his 30 for almost 4 years now and has had zero issues but hes careful on the skinny. And hes on 37s.. Just my 2 cents.
Kinda new to this what is tru tracks ???? Any different from a locker
